XBMC 12.0 has hit Beta 2 and Raspbmc is ready to bring that to you as an update today. We’ve also made a couple of changes:
- libCEC is upgraded to 2.0.4 – it turns out that with the last update I only pushed version 2.0.3. This update should yield some improvements to LG based sets.
- PulseAudio support is now natively integrated (allowing USB sound card support). Further improvements to this will come in the form of a root filesystem update.
How do I get the update?
If you have updates enabled, all you’ll need to do is reboot your Raspberry Pi. If you have been using nightly builds, make sure you switch back to the ‘xbmc release’ in Raspbmc Settings, or you’ll still be running that nightly.
If the screen is not filled or you’re experiencing weird resolution issues, run this command via SSH or via a USB keyboard:
sudo rm /home/pi/.xbmc/userdata/guisettings.xml && sudo reboot
