Installing took about 2,5 hrs while repeating the following msg every 5 seconds:

mmc0: Timeout waiting for hardware interrupt - cmd12.
mmcblk0: error -110 sending to stop command, original cmd response 0x900, card status 0x900
mmc0: final write to SD card still running

Surprisingly installation completed eventually (being patient seems to be the key), rebooted succesfully and I managed to log in, but now it seems to ignore my mouse and keyboard. Will check with different mouse and keyboard later!

Just thought I'd say thanks for letting me experience xbmc on my raspi - I'm no expert, but the guidance provided was sufficient to transfer what was needed to my class 4 SD card. Am now connecting to internet via a Netgear universal wifi adapter (not a usb wifi stick) and then playing music and vids off my main PC... Now I just need to get to grips with xbmc itself :)
